Beloved Sisters and Brothers in the Lord:

Our 43^rd annual Greek Festival is over, and I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who selflessly gave of your time and your efforts to help with all of the work involved in bringing our festival to fruition. Thank you also to those who supported the effort with their thoughts and prayers. Once again, we pulled together as a family in Christ with the common goal to help support our church and her ministries. Even though it rained on Saturday, the weather did not dampen the spirits and the resolve of you or our guests.

I am happy to note that the guests from our community enjoyed themselves, and the volunteers, though they worked long and hard, represented our church family with a spirit of love and unity. It was truly a pleasure to be a part of this Herculean effort. I extend a warm invitation to everyone to participate next year in whatever way you can.
