THE REVEREND FATHER STELIOS N. SITARAS Beloved Sisters and Brothers in the Lord, The month of August is an extremely beautiful time of the year. Ecclesiastically we mark three most important events in the life of the Church. On August 6th we celebrate the Transfiguration of our Lord on Mount Tabor, on August 15th we commemorate the Falling Asleep of our Blessed Ever Virgin Theotokos, and on August 29th we commemorate the Beheading of Saint John the Baptist. I lovingly invite all of you to attend the Divine Liturgies as well as the Parakilsis services. I am confident that they will prove to be spiritually edifying and emotionally fortifying. August is the perfect opportunity to end the ecclesiastical year with great growth in your personal faith and also to joyously usher in the New Year, (September 1). As we end the ecclesiastical year, I want to thank all of you for your support, both financially for your parish, as well as commending you for praying for each other as a worshiping family.
