MESSAGE FROM THE PARISH COUNCIL PRESIDENT: |

Success! Success! Success! But not without His help. Despite the weather people kept coming in ample numbers to keep our tent and Church Hall filled. Many thanks to all our volunteers. This year there were many new faces. But of course our most gracious thanks go to our regular volunteers who are always there, rain or shine. And to our Festival chairman, Nick Sissamis, we cannot find adequate words to express our deep appreciation for all his help in making this year’s festival a financial success. The number of visitors to our Church during the Festival was up slightly. We were very pleased with the number of visitors that asked to see the church and picked up many of the brochures on the Orthodox Church. We will have to add more topics and replenish our inventory of brochures. November is a very important time of the year. First of all we will hold our fall General Assembly during November ( the date and time to be announced ) with two important issues on the agenda - nominations for the 2007 Parish Council and approval of a budget for next year. Also there are three important days in November to remember: election day, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving. Despite the rain, I was impressed with the way everyone functioned with dedication and nobility of service. Once more to each of you thank you from the council and from your church.
