Hope everyone had a good Pascha.  To the mothers of our community we wish them a very special day.

Looking forward this month, besides honoring our mothers, grandmothers, and godmothers we will have a general assembly. Please make every effort to attend. These gatherings are where the parish council gets the approval to spend money in line with our budget. Too many times when I am out talking to our parishioners about stewardship they tell me we keep this information a secret.
This budget gets openly discussed and approved or modified by a general assembly. I had the budget sent to all in the stewardship letter. Please attend if you have any questions about the 2009 budget. The more people that contribute the less of a burden it is on the paying parishioners and the parish council to find ways to make the budget expenses. With that note, we will have another festival in June to help cover expenses. Attend the meeting and let us know how you can help.
