Well, good news. We have the anniversary of the Constitution, President Lincoln’s birthday, Valentine’s Day, President Washington’s birthday and most importantly, Eastern Orthodox Lent begins.

This will be a new beginning because plans are underway for our first fund raiser in April, God willing. The date will be announced in the weekly bulletin. The Council has not decided on chicken or beef barbecue. You will be asked to sell tickets and some will be asked to help out.

One other important item for all of us especially the Council, mail in our pledges so we can start planning the Church’s budget for next year and track the pledges for this year.

I can not forget everyone’s devotion and caring to make our spiritual home so beautiful and fragrant during the holidays. Thank you so much to those involved.

May our coming tasks be blessed this year and our spiritual house sparkle. The City has been requested to mark off three parking areas for the physically disabled. This should be completed in about a month. (They are shorthanded).
