Dear Parishioners: It's getting close for schools to open. Do not forget that the FREE Sales Tax day is coming up. Most businesses with school supplies have lists from the various schools. In case you wondered, vacation time seems less as times goes by. The Parish Council certainly welcomes you back. We hope your family time was enjoyable and well spent. As some of you are aware, plans for this year’s Festival got underway last month. The date of the Festival has not yet been set. However, during the month of July on Saturdays and Sundays the church faithful under the direction of Olga Plomarity began preparing the pastries. Nick Sissamis and Tony Zannaras are busy coordinating other important details. There are many others parishioners involved and will be given their due recognition later. The Parish Council solicits and asks for help from our many restaurant owners. You will be contacted by the various committee chairman to coordinate your assistance in helping to make this year’s festival more successful than any other. |
