LOCAL CHAPTER WINS AWARD AT NATIONAL PHILOPTOCHOS CONVENTION

At the 2006 National Philoptochos Convention held in Nashville, Tennessee, July 16 thru July 21, the Corpus Christi chapter of Philoptochos received the first place award (for chapters with membership of 1 - 20) in the Best Outreach Award Program for the local “Meals on Wheels through Pals” project.

“Best Outreached Projects Awards” were established to reward those chapters and Metropolises that have achieved outstanding community outreach projects in addition to fulfilling all National and Metropolis projects. Chapter outreach projects were judged based upon membership enrollments.

Mrs. Natalie Rogen, president of our local Philoptochos Chapter, attended the convention as the official delegate from the Corpus Christi chapter.
